The PS4 needs 1000 new gods
A few days ago, the closed alpha of SMITE started on PlayStation 4. We have pulled all the strings to provide you with some keys for the closed alpha version together with the guys and girls from HiRez. And by “some” we mean a pretty large amount. Because we have 1000 keys for the PS4 version of SMITE waiting for new owners.
SMITE is a MOBA. Compared to other representatives of the genre, it is significantly more action-oriented, as the character is controlled directly, similar to a shooter or MMO, and not through clicks. This creates a completely new gaming experience, as you are always in the thick of the action instead of just looking down at the battlefield. SMITE also does not use fantasy worlds; instead, the playable characters are all gods from various mythologies – including Greek gods like Zeus, Roman ones like Ares, and Norse ones like Loki and Thor.
Getting a key is simple. You just need to enter a valid email address in the field below, confirm it, and have a bit of luck. The keys will be randomly drawn at the end of the participation period, on March 3, 2016, at 5 PM – you have until then to participate and let your friends know about the giveaway!
The giveaway runs through Godankey. Data is anonymized and not stored for commercial purposes, but only used for sending the keys via email. Participation is free and legal recourse is excluded.
Here are a few more notes about the keys:
- The codes can only be redeemed in Europe
- There is no NDA
- No PlayStation Plus membership is required to play SMITE
- The codes must be used in the PlayStation Store under the category “Redeem Codes”
Currently, only 10 of the over 70 gods from the PC version are available, but the rest will be added soon.
