On consoles, SMITE is becoming more comprehensive – it matches the PC version and brings the new goddess Jing Wei and 60 fps as standard.
60 Frames Per Second on Console in SMITE
A while ago, we reported that SMITE could be played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with 60 fps on a trial basis. Apparently, this “experiment” worked so well that the latest update decided to adopt this setting as standard.
In addition to the increased frame rate, the patch also brings the new hunter Jing Wei, who stands out with her unique flight abilities and exhibits extremely high mobility. Furthermore, the event “Escape of the Underworld” is also unlocked, which has been running on PC for several weeks already.
Special quests reward with additional display images, and dark skins for various gods await in exchange for jewels. During the event’s duration, the arena will be redecorated, and at the end of each match, there is a small “Sudden Death” finale: a final team fight for additional followers (the mastery level of the gods).
On Xbox One, patch 3.6 will already arrive tomorrow, on April 26, while on PlayStation 4, you will have to wait one more day, as it will be released on April 27.
