For the upcoming Halloween celebrations, some visual adjustments will be made to the arena map in SMITE: It’s going to be spooky!
When Thanatos Descends from the Sky
The cold season has been blowing its wind around us for a few days now and the spookiest event of the year (right after Oktoberfest) is approaching: Halloween. The makers of the Moba SMITE have taken this as an opportunity to decorate one of their battlefields with pumpkins, corpses, and plenty of creepy drawings of the various gods.
In the coming weeks, the arena will be significantly darker and will collect many a soul for the underworld. A small video aims to prepare players for the spooky event. Here you can see how the poor Cyclops has to face his terrible nightmares (and meanwhile shamelessly advertise many premium skins):
