SMITE is already ushering in the Christmas season and brings plenty of festive spirit with skins and new game modes.
If you enjoyed “Xing Tian’s Mountain” in the past, the first real “PvE” map of SMITE, which was only available for a short time, you can rejoice over its return. Under the name “Fafnir’s Wonderlang,” players will again be thrown against 15 waves of enemies to defeat. Unlike before, there is now an easy and a hard mode, each rewarding with a different number of points. This way, players can earn Odyssey points through the game mode, which then unlock new skins, ward designs, and other cosmetics.
Aside from that, the patch also signals the start of winter and comes with some special skins. The tank Geb receives its own snowman skin, allowing him, quite literally, to become an avalanche and warns players not to eat yellow snow.
Chiron has also been given a new look; in the best “Rudolph” manner, players can now play the centaur as a reindeer.
