What is special about Meltan: You can only get this Pokémon once from a special research or from the Mystery Box. You receive this box by trading a Pokémon with one of the Let’s GO games.

When was our last chance? Shiny Meltan has not been available in the game for over a month. On March 4 of this year, the chance to catch Shiny Meltan disappeared.
Now the shiny is returning, and everyone who does not own a shiny Meltan has another chance to catch this special Pokémon.
How many boxes can I collect during the event? The time frame for collecting boxes has been reduced back to 3 days. You will get the chance for a Mystery Box again after exactly 3 days. Normally, this period is 7 days.
During the event period, you can open a total of 4 boxes. Each box contains about 20 Meltan. So you will be able to click on a maximum of around 80 Meltan.
How likely is Shiny Meltan? The chances of getting this shiny are definitely higher than with other shinies in the wild. Many players estimate the rate to be about 1 in 40. So with 40 Meltan, there should statistically be a shiny among them.
How do I get Shiny Meltan? If you have already completed the special research, you can only obtain Meltan through the Mystery Box. However, you need a Let’s GO game for the Nintendo Switch, or a friend with this game.
Then you need to trade a Pokémon to the Switch and in return, you will receive a Mystery Box. You can then use this box similarly to incense.
