Who is it about? Although actress Sandra Bullock has played the female lead in some very good films, she has also made at least one misstep: All About Steve from 2010. In the film, she plays Mary Horowitz, who falls head over heels for the cameraman Steve and believes they are meant for each other. She follows him across the country until she finally realizes that she should accept herself instead.
Her performance in the film was so poor that Sandra Bullock was nominated for the Golden Raspberry – a counterpart to the Oscar.
Besides this nomination, she was also nominated for an Oscar for her very good performance. In The Blind Side from 2009, Sandra Bullock was able to showcase her acting abilities in her role as Leigh Touhy. The film is about homeless teenager Michael Oher, who is taken in by the wealthy Touhy family and becomes a successful football player.

Sandra Bullock actually picked up her Golden Raspberry herself, even though this award was supposed to be an insult. She accepted the award on March 6, 2010, while handing out DVDs of the film to the jury. The actress also demonstrated her humor as she joked with a smile that the jury probably hadn’t even seen the film.
Less than 24 hours later, she received her Oscar for The Blind Side. Because of her nearly simultaneous nominations for these opposing awards, she became the only actress to receive both an Oscar and a Golden Raspberry within just 24 hours. That’s enough for an entry in the Guinness World Record.
