Dear readers, I know you have long demanded that it gets dark here. The site you visit daily should finally get a Dark Mode, they said. And to be honest, we also find it quite sexy, and besides, everyone is doing it anyway.
LET IT GET DARK!
We promised it to you during the relaunch, and now it’s here: Starting today, you can visit Mein-MMO.de in the popular dark mode. We will explain to you how it works and have another upcoming change to share.
P.S. As soon as the Dark Mode is out of beta, we will place the “switch” more visibly on the home page.

How to switch MeinMMO to Dark Mode
Not registered yet? To use the dark mode, you need to be logged in on the site. You need an account on Mein-MMO.de, which you can create here.
During registration, you can choose the “Dark Theme” on the first page. After that, you’re done.
How to switch it back to the light mode later, you will find out in the next guide.
Already registered and logged in? Go to the user icon in the top right header. In the “My Profile” section, you have the option to set the “Theme” to “dark.” This is illustrated again with an image.
Still not perfect and the future
Do you still find errors? We are currently working on correcting a few cosmetic issues. There are still some elements here and there that are not optimally aligned with the dark mode.
We would be happy if you could share such findings with us on our Discord server under #relaunch-beta or just here in the comments. Best with screenshots. We will take care of it quickly.
Once we are 100% satisfied with the implementation, we are considering presenting a simple switch on the site that doesn’t require an account. We still see it as a beta!
The promised announcement: This year we will switch to a native commenting system, away from the third-party provider Disqus.
The new commenting system is already working very well on our test servers. Our designer is currently working to ensure it looks good in the end.
The good thing is that we can then expand it ourselves in the future. We are already planning ranks and similar features. You will also need an account on Mein-MMO.de in the future if you want to use these features.
