In Pokémon GO the 5th generation is coming soon. It’s time to take a look at the starter Pokémon. What can Serpifeu, Floink, Ottaro, and especially their evolutions do?
Together with the Ultra Bonus, the first Pokémon of the 5th generation will also come to Pokémon GO. This will happen this September.
Part of the first wave will likely also include the starter Pokémon. We will show you whether you can use the starters and compare them with other starter Pokémon.
All about the starter Pokémon of the 5th generation
These are the evolutions: As always, there are 3 starter Pokémon, which are of the types Grass, Fire, and Water:
- Serpifeu, Efoserp, and Serpiroyal
- Floink, Ferkokel, and Flambirex
- Ottaro, Zwottronin, and Admurai
How strong will Serpifeu, Efoserp, and Serpiroyal be
These are the stats: We will show you here the stats of the final evolution Serpiroyale:
- Attack value: 161
- Defense value: 204
- HP value: 181
- Max CP: 2277
Is the Pokémon worth it? Serpiroyale will probably be the worst Grass attacker of all previous starters. It has the lowest attack value of the starters, and the other values are also not convincing. So it will likely be more important for the Pokédex.
How strong will Floink, Ferkokel, and Flambirex be
These are the stats: We will show you here the stats of the final evolution Flambirex:
- Attack value: 235
- Defense value: 127
- HP value: 242
- Max CP: 2982
Is the Pokémon worth it? The stats of Flambirex are solid, and if it can learn the move Overheat at a Community Day it could be a strong Fire attacker. Among all Fire starters, it even reaches the highest CP and the second highest attack value.
How strong will Ottaro, Zwottronin, and Admurai be
These are the stats: We will show you here the stats of the final evolution Admurai:
- Attack value: 212
- Defense value: 157
- HP value: 216
- Max CP: 2826
Is the Pokémon worth it? Admurai has the highest attack value of all Water starters and could become useful, especially with the Community Day move Hydro Cannon. However, it probably won’t surpass top attackers Kingler and Kyogre.
