In the new trailer, The Division 2 spectacularly presents the contents of the Private Beta. These are extensive and provide insights into the story, Dark Zone, and PvP modes.
This is shown in the trailer: The short trailer showcases different parts of the game, giving a brief impression of the civilians, enemy factions, and scenes from The Division 2, which takes place in Washington D.C. From PvE to PvP, you will be able to test these contents:
- Two main missions: Hotel Grand Washington and Jefferson Trade Center
- Five side missions: Empire Autumn Hotel, MLK Library Hostages, National Archives, Mustang Court Rescue, Bureau Headquarters
- The three specializations: Sniper, Survivalist, and Demolitionist
- Control points and other activities in the Open World
- A civilian base that can be expanded
- Access to the Dark Zone East
- Conflict: A 4vs4 PvP mode
- Site Invasion: This mission will only be available starting February 8 at 10 AM. What it involves is still unknown.
During this, you will explore seven different zones, each with specific level requirements:
- The White House – This also serves as the Division’s operations base
- Downtown East
- The Federal Triangle
- The Smithsonian
- Final Epiphany
- The 1040
- Dark Zone East – You can enter it after completing the “Jefferson Trade Center” mission.
When does the Beta start? From Thursday, February 7 at 10 AM, the Private Beta will be online in Germany. The Beta will run for exactly four days and end on Monday, February 11 at 10 AM.
A preload starts on February 6, allowing you to download the Private Beta earlier.

How do I participate in the Beta? You must either pre-order The Division 2 or register on the Beta page. Then you have a small chance of participating.
Am I allowed to record scenes from the Beta? The Private Beta is not subject to a non-disclosure agreement. Therefore, screenshots and videos can be made.
However, it should be noted that the Beta is not the final version of the game. The release versions may contain changes.
