Which weapons were newly added with Season 4? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone introduces a total of 3 new weapons with the start of Season 4:
- CR-56 AMAX – Assault rifle based on the Israeli Galil
- Fennek – Submachine gun based on the KRISS Vector
- Kali Sticks – Martial Arts melee weapons

Battle Pass brings 2 weapons – New melee weapon on top
How do I unlock the BP weapons? As in previous seasons, CoD grants all players 2 new weapons for their loadouts via the Battle Pass of Season 4. It doesn’t matter whether you buy the Battle Pass or just unlock the free reward path. The weapons are available for everyone.
- Fennek – Battle Pass Level 15
- CR-56 AMAX – Battle Pass Level 31
To reach these levels, you’ll need to play for a while. If you play casually, a “Battle Pass” tier can take 40 to 60 minutes. However, it also depends on your points yield, so a Warzone victory will significantly progress you.
How do I get the sticks? Here you need to complete a challenge and catch enemies while sliding:
- Use a knife and achieve 3 kills while sliding in 15 different matches
A rather specific task and actually optimal for the popular chaos playlist “Shipment 24/7”. If the mode is in rotation, you can probably unlock the sticks here the fastest.
Weapons with unique attachments and fun melee sticks
What makes the AMAX special? The CR-56 AMAX is based on the Galil assault rifle of the Israeli military, which is roughly based on the AK-47, which is also in the game. Like the AK, the AMAX comes with the large “7.62x39mm” caliber and has corresponding characteristics. It shoots quite similarly to the AK-47.
As a special feature, the weapon has some interesting attachments available, making it very flexible. For example, you have access to 6 different stock variants, unique grip attachments, and a ammunition conversion kit that converts the weapon into a semi-automatic rifle, similar to the FAL.
What makes the Fennek special? This small submachine gun comes with a high rate of fire and strong handling. The bullets in the magazine fly out of the barrel at a high rate, and with attachments, the weapon can still be made very stable.
Really exciting is the muzzle attachment “ZLR Sabre”. Similar to the Monolithic Suppressor, one of the attachments we recommend for every weapon, it likely increases range but also provides recoil control.
What makes the Kali sticks special? A little premiere comes with the “Kali Sticks”. For the first time since the release of Modern Warfare, there is a new melee weapon for the secondary weapon slot. Previously, there was only the knife.
The “Kali Sticks” need 2 hits in multiplayer to take down an enemy. You have one stick in your left and right hand and run quickly across the map, as melee weapons make you really fast. With your “shoot” button you hit with your right hand, with “zoom” with the left.
What content did Season 4 bring? The delayed season comes with 3 new multiplayer maps, fresh Warzone mechanics, a 100-player Team Deathmatch, and many new cosmetics. You can find an overview of the changes and adjustments in Season 4 in our article with the patch notes for update 1.22.
