However, Sea of Thieves is not yet finished, as it is set to be released only in February.

Now they are letting players onto the servers who are not part of the development team and will directly learn what they think of Sea of Thieves. But that is exactly what the developers have been working towards. And this feeling of excitement and fear is what developers also need.
