Microsoft’s Phil Spencer visited the developer studio Rare and had a lot of fun with the latest version of the pirate online game Sea of Thieves. We show you the gameplay video of Sea of Thieves.
In an interesting and also funny gameplay video, you can see how Phil Spencer performs in the game. And even though there are initial difficulties that lead to being taken down by a skeleton, he gets quite good at Sea of Thieves and seems to have a lot of fun. The video also demonstrates well how the missions currently play out.
Ship Battles and Boarding Attacks
A crew sets out to find a treasure, exploring an island and dealing with the undead. Back on the ship, they encounter another crew, who, however, have no honorable intentions.
A fierce ship battle breaks out, initially fought with cannons, but also leading to boarding attacks and thus sword fights on deck.
A highlight: during the boarding, attackers misjudge the distances and joyfully jump to their death, much to everyone’s amusement.
It is great to see how versatile and interesting the game is and how one situation leads to the next, promising a very dynamic gameplay.
