At E3, the upcoming pirate online game Sea of Thieves was showcased. The developers have now shared some details about the PC version.
So far, nothing has been seen of the PC version of the online game Sea of Thieves. The developers have concentrated on the Xbox One version. However, as Microsoft explains, there is also a dedicated PC version in development. Sea of Thieves for PC is not just a port of the Xbox One version but a version being developed in parallel.

PC version offers more customization options
Those who want to play Sea of Thieves on PC will not be subjected to a framerate lock. There is no FPS limit. Additionally, ultra-wide screen monitors are supported, and 4K resolution is also part of the package.
This means that the PC version of the game offers more customization options and can be better tailored to individual needs. The team is currently working on a special control scheme for mouse and keyboard, ensuring that Sea of Thieves can be effectively controlled with these input devices. This can be tested during the technical alphas.
Test the PC version in the technical alpha
The online game will be released in early 2018. If you want to be part of one of the technical alpha phases and try out the PC version of Sea of Thieves, then sign up on the official website. With a bit of luck, you will be selected for the test.
