New Gear, Osiris and the Dark Future
During the stream, Community Manager DeeJ grabbed a controller and ran with two other Guardians through the Lighthouse and the Patrol Zone on Mercury. He showcased new gear that the Guardians wore and that you can obtain in Curse of Osiris.

With Osiris and Sagira, not only two new characters come to the game, but also a well-known character returns: Brother Vance.
Here are screenshots of Mercury. Mercury has been transformed into a machine world by the Vex:
From the first-person perspective, it looks like this on Mercury: Now comes two interesting concept images. These show the “Dark Future”. These images illustrate how Mercury transforms when the Vex take everything. In the Dark Future, the sun is “dead” and the entire Mercury is bathed in the red glow of Vex eyes: The tower in the upper image is, by the way, the destroyed Lighthouse. Here is a close-up in the destroyed Lighthouse:
In the livestream, brief scenes from the Everforest were shown. This is a Vex area inside Mercury where present, past, and future blur. From there, one can travel to a beautiful past, an alternative version of the present, or a terrible future (Dark Future). Here is a picture of the entrance to the Everforest:
