Since Legion, there have been some NPC pets in World of Warcraft that can be petted. With Patch 7.3.5, these adorable little creatures can also be found in the embassy of Stormwind!
The pet-petting craze broke out in Bradensbrook in Val’sharah and in the pet shop in Dalaran. It continued with Goya on the Broken Shore. Now there is another place where players can satisfy their cuddly needs with pets.
Petting Pets – now also in Stormwind!
Some Reddit users have discovered that there are also pets in Stormwind that can be petted! In and around the embassy of Stormwind, cats and dogs roam around, eagerly reaching out to your virtual hand to be petted.
In true Blizzard self-ironic fashion, petting the little companions is, of course, not completed with just one click. Instead, your character kneels properly in front of their cuddly companion and receives a casting bar for the “Pet” spell.
Petting Pets as a Profession? Users would Sacrifice Main Professions for it
On Reddit, this pastime is receiving a lot of acclaim. There are even some particularly fascinated players who would unlearn their main professions for a “Petting” profession. Just to be able to interact with every critter in the world instead.
Alternatively, users wish for at least a micro-holiday where exactly that is possible. After all, Blizzard has already introduced such mini-events for all sorts of things.
