On Twitch, there has been a huge hype around role-playing in GTA 5 Online for several years now. Some major streamers have been able to launch their careers there. However, it is becoming evident what happens when the RP influences real life.
About the situation: Former “Heroes of the Storm” eSports player John Paul Lopez alias “KingCaffeine” publicly announced on X on September 25, 2024, that his wife, a Twitch streamer for GTA 5, had cheated on him with her – also married – role-playing partner.
The two had been engaging in ERP, erotic role-playing, on the streamers’ role-playing server, nopixel.
“Sad that it has come to this”
This is what the husband says: “Hello everyone, it’s not easy to say this, but Jillian ‘DivaJilly’, my wife of 15 years, the role-player of Siobhan on nopixel GTARP, and the love of my life, has apparently been cheating on me for months with the Twitch streamer Moonmoon.”
KingCaffeine posted a screenshot of text messages between the two.
Apparently, the two had been exchanging messages for a while, but it seems there was a meeting at TwitchCon in San Diego.
KingCaffeine says he is very sad that it has come to this after being assured for months that it was all just role-play. He was told it was just about having a positive attitude towards sexuality and “Girl Bossing”.
The betrayed husband explains that he found the messages when he wanted to make sure his wife was okay after she hadn’t responded to him. He also came across further conversations where Jill exchanged explicit messages with other men from the role-play community.
Streamer defends himself
What does Moonmoon say about this? The streamer commented live on Twitch and also on his Discord server about the allegations. He stated: The woman told him she was in an open marriage, meaning a relationship in which the parties are allowed to have other partners. He explained on Discord:

- I’ve been separated from my wife for about 2 months (she’s a nice lady, so be nice)
- I NEVER communicated inappropriately with her when we did RP stuff outside of our characters (no contact other than game stuff)
- TwitchCon was pretty nice
In the stream, he reiterated that she told him she was in an open marriage. However, it actually doesn’t concern him how exactly the woman’s relationship with her husband looks.
However, KingCaffeine denies that he had an open marriage with his wife (via X).
