In April, the ROG Convention Duisburg from hardware manufacturer ASUS will take place. The developers of Star Citizen will also be there. You will have the chance to play the popular action-adventure Sekiro as well.
What kind of convention is this? The ROG Convention presents you with current hardware from ASUS’s Republic of Gamers series. But you won’t just be able to admire the hardware; you can also try it out yourself. You can play the strategy game Anno 1800 and the space project Star Citizen in its latest version there. Both before their release!
You will then have the opportunity to chat with some developers of Star Citizen on site. They will also explain more about what is happening in the space game.
Additionally, you can play games like Sekiro, Fade 2 Silence, The Division 2, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Space Junkies on site.
This is the hardware being played on: At the convention, there are numerous demo stations available to you, running on high-end ROG hardware. Play the game hits in 4K or ultrawide and HDR. The power is provided by Intel Core processors of the 9th generation and ROG Strix graphics cards.
This is what you can learn: If you want, you can join experts at the convention for workshops and learn more about overclocking systems. Professional overclocker Roman “Der8auer” Hartung will also be on site.
The program: During the day, you can chat with developers, learn more about overclocking, and participate in the ROG Challenge to win great hardware prizes.
In the evening, the ROG Live Show will air. On the show stage, you can expect world-exclusive announcements and challenges between YouTubers. There will also be show acts. The moderators from Gamestar will guide you through the evening.

When and where is the ROG Convention? The event will take place on April 12, 2019, at Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord in the Kraftzentrale. It starts at 1:00 PM. The Kraftzentrale offers over 6,000 square meters of space.
Are there still tickets available? You can still purchase basic and premium tickets for the convention. The VIP tickets are already sold out.
