Rift released an unusual raid – a massive tower with its own consciousness.
The Ahnket Tower houses powerful bosses
The latest patch of RIFT brought the fresh raid instance for 10 players “The Comet of Ahnket”, which presents all raiders with new challenges. In line with the new update, the developers wrote a blog post revealing more about the origin and events of the tower in which the raid is located.
The tower is more than just a structure, as it possesses its own consciousness and can also draw on magical powers to enforce its will. Some scientists have recently learned that the tower, which calls itself Ahnket, is holding 2 beings inside, who are in a permanent conflict with each other. However, it is suspected that the tower is just waiting for the right moment to unleash the two prisoners upon the cosmos – so it is up to the players to venture into the realms of Ahnket to eliminate the threats in time.
