In the Free2Play MMO Rift, the expansion “Nightmare Tide” is set to go live tonight; it has already been postponed once.
Today is the day for Rift fans: It goes to the planar realm of water and what awaits players there is supposed to test their nerves, as the theme of the expansion is indeed madness. Nightmare Tide was originally supposed to be released at the beginning of October, but Trion Worlds took two extra weeks for refinement. The launch of the expansion is scheduled for the afternoon on the West Coast of the USA, which should translate to around midnight to three in the morning for us.
So for those living in Europe, who are fans of Rift and want to be among the first to reach the new maximum level or familiarize themselves with the new minion system, it’s better to prepare for a long night.
