With the upcoming update 3.6 in RIFT there will be some new souls, which will be available in the chosen souls package of the in-game shop. This enables new play styles and allows even old characters to shine in a new light. In a new post, the War Singer has been discussed and it explains what will set this soul apart.
The War Singer – as the name suggests – can best be compared to the bards from other fantasy settings and is a specialization for the warrior. Through various songs and encouraging shouts, he strengthens his allies and becomes a powerful healer. The War Singer specializes in single-target healing. Especially helpful are special effects like “Turns the Tide in Your Favor”, which converts any overhealing into a protective shield.
However, the singers are not defenseless; they can also deal significant physical damage. Bleeding ears included.
