The MMORPG Riders of Icarus received a major update with Corruption of Light. It features trouble with evil elves and tons of new mounts to collect and tame.
Elves are actually graceful and beautiful beings interested in peace and harmony. But there are often nasty representatives of this kind. Such pointy-eared individuals are currently roaming in Riders of Icarus. The Chaos Elves want to take down their peace-loving brothers and sisters, and you should stop them in the new update Corruption of Light.
Riders of Icarus – New Dungeons, Mounts, and Levels
The goal of the Chaos Elves is the Demon Stone, which the Light Elves have guarded in the region “Ellora Sanctuary” for generations. The formerly harmonious place is now a battlefield between the elves, and your riders must intervene and assist the Light Elves.
There are a total of 230 new quests in the new region, which should be accessed starting from level 49. Additionally, two massive world bosses have taken up residence there, which you should only tackle in raid strength.
In addition, there is the new dungeon “Forgotten Shrine,” where the Chaos Elf Lord Yorminsul plans to steal the Demon Stone. The dungeon is designed for level 54 in normal mode, but you should be level 55 in heroic mode. As a reward, you can earn items from new sets, and a special creature can be tamed there. Besides the new dungeon, there are now also instances “Cavern of the Veil,” “The Frost Keep,” and “The Breach” as legendary dungeons with legendary loot.
Even More Mounts!
The coolest feature for all Icarus fans is certainly the new animals you can catch and tame. Among them are holy wolves and reindeer, jungle leopards, and even crocodiles. More difficult to catch are gorillas and other large beasts. The top creature is, by the way, the legendary flying wolf Torkai!
Also cool: The maximum level increases to level 55, and you can now enhance your items via the new “Transcendence” system. To do this, you merge equipment of the same type and thereby get better stats in your favorite weapon.
