With Title Update 2, the next major content update for Monster Hunter Wilds is already on the horizon. The official release date has been accidentally revealed.
When is the update supposed to be released? Title Update 2, or TU2, is expected to be released on June 30, 2025, according to Gematsu. This date was supposedly seen accidentally in a new section of the Monster Hunter Wilds shop page on PlayStation.com.
In the meantime, the text has disappeared, but Gematsu was able to secure a screenshot of the relevant section. You can read about what content highlights await you here.
Two community favorites are set to return in TU2
What highlights await players? In addition to the already teased legendary Lagiacrus, a second fan-favorite is also set to return in TU2. According to the community on Reddit, the monster Seregios is a hot candidate for the spot next to Lagiacrus.
Besides the two “new” monsters, a feature that allows you to customize the appearance of your weapons is finally expected. Just like you can currently do with your armor. The so-called decoration weapons can then be easily placed over your equipped weapons, retaining their stats, but allowing you to make them look the way you want.
Additionally, a new event quest featuring the battle-hardened Uth Duna is set to come to the game, where you can obtain a corresponding gamma armor, similar to TU1 with the battle-hardened Rey Dau. There will also be more new event quests with new exclusive equipment, new cosmetic DLCs, and a new seasonal event.
Further information is expected to be revealed during the livestream on June 26, 2025 (via x.com).
Some adjustments that are also planned for TU2 have already been shared, which should bring significant revisions to some aspects.
