In Red Dead Redemption 2, you must endure some fights. How to increase your health and thereby improve your character is explained here.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, some activities affect the so-called cores that indicate the resources of you and your horse. Fortunately, you can level up your health, stamina, and also your Dead Eye through various means. We will show you here which tasks you can undertake to enhance your health.
How to Increase Your Health
To raise your health to level 8, you must accumulate a total of 1100 experience points, just like with stamina and Dead Eye. Up to level 10, the special challenges for each respective resource will reward you.
You earn experience points through health-related tasks. However, you can only expand the health indicator, which is the ring around the core, and not the core itself.
Combat
Leveling with Weapons: While most players may prefer combat with their firearms, you should also occasionally use your bow or throwable weapons. Each kill with the bow or a throwable weapon, such as throwing knives or the Viking axe, gives you 20 experience points for your health. A hit with either of these weapons still grants you 5 XP.

We have presented the best weapons here.
Unarmed Combat: If you like to let your fists do the talking, that is also a way to improve your health. Each won fistfight grants you 10 experience points.
Silent Kill: If you manage to knock out or kill your opponent silently, you will receive 5 experience points.
Hunting: A clean shot while hunting earns you 3 experience points for your health ring.
Fishing and Physical Tasks
Fishing for Health: If you want to take a break from cowboy business, fishing is not only a good way to relax but also helpful for your health. Caught fish grant you between 10 and 30 experience points each, with larger fish yielding more XP.

However, fishing is not available from the start. It is unlocked through the quest “People Fisher” in Chapter 2. This quest is also a prerequisite for hunting for the legendary fish.
Rowing: In real life, rowing is good for health, so why not in RDR 2? This activity is probably the most efficient way to fill up your health bar. Rowing for 100 meters rewards you with 20 experience points, and the task can theoretically be continued until you have fully leveled up your health.
Jumping: If rowing is not exciting enough for you, you can also try jumping. Jumping 50 times earns you 5 experience points for your health.
Challenges
Some challenges in Red Dead Redemption give you direct bonuses to your respective resources, which you can only improve up to level 8 with regular activities. Only the challenges will advance you up to level 10. For health, these challenges are Herbalist, Master Hunter, and Gun Expert.

For the first challenge level, you earn 25 XP each. If you manage to completely finish all three challenges, you will receive a total of 1425 experience points.
Ginseng Elixir
Elixirs and tonics can usually be found in the game world or purchased from merchants. Particularly interesting for your health is the Ginseng Elixir, which grants you 25% experience points towards your next level.
However, Ginseng Elixirs are very rare and cannot be bought, only found.
