You have pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2, but can't find your bonuses? We will show you when and where you can get your pre-order bonuses in the game.
The different versions of Red Dead Redemption 2 also include different pre-order bonuses. We will show you where in the story you can claim your War Horse, additional premium horses, and pre-order items.
Where can I find the War Horse?
How to get the Ardenner War Horse: The Ardenner War Horse is a bonus included with all pre-order editions. The iron-gray animal has more courage and endurance than the average horses that can be purchased or found in the wild, making it a great choice especially at the beginning of the game.
You will receive the War Horse during the story of Red Dead Redemption 2. At the end of Chapter 1, you will unlock the camp system and receive a tutorial on stables.
Once you have a stable, you can visit it and choose from several horses. If you have successfully redeemed your pre-order code, the Ardenner War Horse will also be among those horses.
Where can I find the other pre-order horses? You will also find the other horses from the different versions of RDR 2 after the tutorial on the stables. The other horses are as follows:
- Black spotted English thoroughbred in the Special Edition
- English black chestnut thoroughbred in the Ultimate Edition
Why are horses so important? In Red Dead Redemption 2, horses will be more than just a means of transportation, and players should be able to build a real relationship with the animals. A horse that has gotten used to you will react differently to situations than a horse you just bought or stole.
Where can I find the pre-order items?
How to obtain the items: The bonus items, such as the “Nuevo-Paraiso-Gunslinger” outfit and the talisman, will only be available to you at a later stage. You need to have access to your camp in Chapter 2 for this.
In the camp, you can change your clothing at your wardrobe and thus snatch the items.
