The new weekly update for Red Dead Online is now available. It introduces the Plunder game mode. Additionally, rank requirements for certain clothing items are temporarily removed.
What’s new? Regularly, the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2 receives updates. Today, on April 9th, the developers deployed a patch that brings another new game mode.
Additionally, there are bonuses for level requirements for certain items. These have now been reduced for a few days.
Plunder game mode in RDO
This is how it’s played: In this mode, up to 16 players team up. Supplies should be picked up at central locations and brought back to the base.
There’s more action when you steal supplies from the enemies. You can steal them from opponent teams’ bases. The downside is that you become visible to opponents as soon as you pick up the loot.
So make sure to create a solid plan beforehand if you want to rob the opponents.
Rockstar recommends that you use Dead Eye ability cards like “focused fire”. They help your team and ensure that your allies deal more damage when your Dead Eye is active.
Another new game mode: In recent weeks, Red Dead Online has been provided with many new game modes.
- In the Spoils of War game mode, you also steal loot
- In Up in Smoke, it gets explosive
- The target races require aiming and control over the horse
These bonuses are available now
There are now new clothing items:
- Owanjila Hat
- Porter Jacket
- Concho Pants

Item level requirements reduced: All coats, holsters, boots, and gloves that are usually available from level 40 are now accessible to all players.
For higher-ranked players, the Turkoman, Missouri Foxtrotter, and Arabian are reduced to rank 40.
In addition, brochures for high-explosive dynamite, shotgun slugs, explosive rifle ammo, express explosive ammo, and dynamite arrows are reduced to rank 60.
This lasts until April 15.
