The online shooter Realm Royale is set to release for the PS4 and Xbox One. However, a closed beta will take place first: the first wave of invites is on its way. But only a few are chosen.
First invitations for the closed beta of the online shooter Realm Royale for consoles are here. The emails were apparently sent out on August 1st. More invitations are expected to come, as the studio Hi-Rez wants to focus on technical improvements first.
What is Realm Royale? Realm Royale is based on the hero shooter Paladins, but it is a classic battle royale. On a large map, 100 players fight each other; the last one standing wins. Unlike other battle royale games, Realm Royale features RPG elements in the form of character classes and skills.
How do I get into the beta on PS4 or Xbox One? You need to sign up on the official Realm Royale site. There is nothing else to consider. The game is free.
If you have registered and still haven’t received a code, you will probably only be allowed onto the servers with the upcoming waves.

What about the PC? Realm Royale can already be played on PC. The game is available for free on Steam.
When is the beta supposed to start? This week. If there are no delays, the closed beta will go online by August 5th at the latest.
Closed beta starts with a small number of players – more invitations to follow
The beta of the battle royale shooter will initially be held on a small scale. According to Josh Nash, community manager at Hi-Rez Studios, they want to improve the core mechanics first. They hope to make the beta accessible to many more people soon.
Further information about the closed beta is expected to follow shortly. Apparently, the servers are still not online.
