The co-op shooter Rainbow Six: Extraction was originally called Quarantine and is intended to be a kind of sequel to the Outbreak event from Rainbow Six: Siege. An alien parasite has infested the earth, and players must fight against it in PvE. Originally, Extraction was supposed to be released in 2020. After several delays, the shooter was released on January 20, 2022.
