In Pokémon GO, with the introduction of Shiny Mewtwo and the Unova region, there are also various new raid bosses. Some of them are from Generation 5.
Why was there a change? As previously announced, the raid bosses have now changed to tailor the counters specifically for Mewtwo.
Now, there are also some Pokémon from Generation 5 in the raids. Especially one Pokémon is likely to interest many players, as it can only be found in raids and in eggs.
These Pokémon from the Unova region are now in raids

How significant are the changes? This time, there isn’t a big change. Only the 1-star raids and of course the legendary raid boss have changed. All other raid tiers have the same Pokémon as before.
This might be because Mewtwo and previously Deoxys have the same weaknesses. Logically, not much can change about the raid bosses, as they are effective against both Pokémon.
Which Pokémon are worth it from Gen 5? There are a total of 3 Pokémon from the Unova region in raids. Yamask and Throh can also be caught in eggs and in the wild, besides in raids.
Both Pokémon are not really relevant in the Pokémon GO meta. So, if you want to save raid passes, you shouldn’t invest in those two Pokémon.
Baltoy, on the other hand, is significantly more interesting. You can find it exclusively in 10 km eggs and in raids. So if you want to evolve your Baltoy, you should focus on raids.
You can also find it there as shiny, so a raid pass might be worth it here. However, from a usability standpoint, Baltoy is not very useful.
