At Bethesda’s E3 press conference, a new online FPS shooter was announced: Quake Champions.
A few hours ago, unconfirmed rumors were confirmed: The fifth Quake game is in development and will be called “Quake Champions”.
Quake Champions is a competitive arena-style FPS shooter. It will be released exclusively for PC and will focus heavily on speed: Thus, it will run without frame lock and at 120hz.

The video already features some heroes from Quake Champions, but no in-game footage yet.
The heroes are said to all be “badass characters” and will showcase various abilities: This will allow for individual play styles and battles. The upcoming Quake aims to appeal to both casual gamers and hardcore fans alike.
