The new PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) update aims to fix bugs in the game. Various graphic bugs and grenades that explode too early are included. The patch notes will tell you what other bugs are being addressed.
Just a few days ago, the PUBG development team released the September update for the battle royale shooter. Now, another update is on the way, which will address various issues in the game, including graphic and gameplay bugs.
PUBG patch now on the testlive servers
Update: The patch is now live on the PUBG servers
Before a new update is deployed to the live servers of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, it is first tested on the test servers.
The patch notes reveal how many quality improvements are hidden in the new update. These were published by the developers on the PUBG Steam page and stated that the patch will come to the test servers today, on September 19.
Once the update is deemed “stable”, it will be released on the live servers. An exact date for this is currently unknown. Since September 20, 2017, you can download the update for the live servers.

These issues are to be resolved by the new update: grenades exploding too early, black boxes, and animation bugs when using healing or boosts in a vehicle.
User Interface UI/UX
- The feature “Mark your current position on the map (default key “Insert”)” has been added to the map help overview on the world map
Other
- You can no longer modify .ini files to assign multiple actions to one key.
Bug Fixes
- A bug was fixed where the “Angled Foregrip” could be mounted to the Tommy Gun
- A graphic bug was fixed that affected the locations of buildings
- An animation bug was fixed that occurred when a character used healing or boosts while sitting in the driver’s seat.
- A bug was fixed where reloading was not interrupted when the player fell into the knocked-out state during it.
- A bug was fixed where a “uncooked” grenade could explode if the player fell into the knocked-out state while holding it.
- A graphic bug was fixed that caused a black box texture to appear. This happened when looking through the sight while anti-aliasing settings were set to low or very low.
The team has already tossed the original update plan out the window: Quality instead of quantity is the new motto.
