In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds there is the desert map Miramar. But where are the best loot spots? Where can you find the most weapons and equipment? Here you will find out!
The second map in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is called “Miramar” and was released on December 20, 2017, at the official launch of PUBG on PC. Before that, however, players could already play the map on the test server. There many players have already gained extensive experiences with the loot system, and we want to pass on the insights we gathered here.

Pecado – Top loot location in the middle of the map
Pecado is a small industrial settlement located quite centrally on the map. Therefore, you can usually reach it quite well from the plane at the beginning of the game. Try to land on the box arena.
Inside, you will find a ton of tier-3 gear and can supply yourself well at the start of the game. With a bit of luck, you won’t have to deal with too many enemies, as many players have already jumped out beforehand.
Campo Militar – More accessible than the old military base
The “Campo Militar” corresponds in loot density to the Sosnovka military base from the Erangel map. The base is located at the very top northeast of the map and contains plenty of strong weapons and equipment.
Especially the large building in the middle and the warehouses are packed with loot. Just like on the old Erangel map, players often clash at the start of the game. You can die quickly, or you can emerge heavily armed as a candidate for the chicken dinner from the first battle.
By the way, keep in mind that the “Campo Militar” is easier to reach than the Sosnovka military base, which you can only access via two long bridges. Campo Militar, on the other hand, is accessible from several sides. Individual snipers waiting are therefore less effective.
Hacienda del Patron – The best loot on the map!
The Hacienda del Patron is a magnificent estate in the middle of the map, just east of the city “San Martin”. Those who sit in the plane long enough will eventually fly past it. The loot in this estate is good and is even sufficient for teams.
How epic the loot in the Hacienda is, is shown by YouTuber BigBossBilly in the embedded video here. But be careful not to get slaughtered by players who landed earlier after you touch down.
If you still need something, you can find more loot in the nearby city of San Martin or in the northern water treatment plant.
The Prison – Back to the start zone!
In this prison facility, you start at the beginning of each Miramar round before the plane takes off. However, you can also return there. The prison is located at the very bottom in the southwest on a hard-to-reach island.
There are plenty of weapons and equipment lying around. However, you’ll need to look in all possible corners to not overlook anything useful. Additionally, there are a nice number of vehicles to quickly leave the island.
If you need even more loot: The town of Los Hugos on the same island is also a nice loot area.
