PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PC, Xbox One, iOS, Android) is a paid Buy2Play game on PC and console. However, Xbox One players can now play the battle royale shooter for free for a limited time.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has millions of players, but some shooter fans are still skeptical. The acquisition costs are indeed a hurdle for many potentially interested players. However, for Xbox One players, there is currently no reason not to try out PUBG.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds now free in Microsoft’s Free Play Days
This weekend from April 19 to April 22, 2018, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is part of Microsoft’s handy program “Free Play Days.” This means you can download the game completely for free from the store or the Gold section of Xbox. You just need an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
All progress you make during this time will be retained. So you don’t have to worry about your progress. Your chicken dinners are safe if you buy the game later or if PUBG appears again in the Free Play Days at a later date.
Have fun and good luck hunting for delicious chicken dinners!
