In total, over ten million matches have been played, providing interesting statistics on the battle royale shooter.
The most popular weapons, distances traveled on foot and in vehicles, and total playtime are just a few of the stats that game developer Bluehole shared with IGN. Here you can learn some cool facts about the game.
PUBG Stats – Fun Facts about the Shooter
The statistics for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds were collected between March 23 and July 19 and are therefore not completely up to date. Still, they give you a good overview of what’s happening in PUBG and how often and intensely the game is played.
By the way, we are very interested in how the long-distance kill occurred. Hopefully, everything was done fairly.

- You can run over opponents with vehicles to get kills. This method leads to death much more frequently than exploding vehicles.
Grenades – Frag or Molotov?
- Over 70 million kills have already been achieved with frag grenades. The fiery cocktails are less frequently used for killing.

- Among snipers, the SKS is very popular. With 27.2 million kills, it ranks first, ahead of the KAR98K with 20.7 million kills.

- Among pistols, there’s a close race for first place. The P1911 leads with 15.8 million kills – closely followed by the P92 with 15.6 million kills.
Popular “Other” Weapons
- Besides the main weapons, other models are also popular. The M249 has already achieved 2.27 million kills and the crossbow has over 1.3 million kills.
