Content 1.0 – The new map Miramar and climbing
The version 1.0 of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds brings certainly more than just a different number and the official categorization as a “finished” game. With the release, two long-awaited new content features will come to the PC version.
- First, there’s the new map Miramar. This is a map in a desert region reminiscent of Mexico. The new map offers many rugged areas and unique weapons. A feature for selecting the map before a match will come later.

- The second major feature of PUBG 1.0 is the so-called climbing. This refers to a function that allows your avatars to deftly climb or vault over low obstacles such as fences, barriers, and railings. Previously, you had to either run around or awkwardly jump over. This new feature will make the battles much more dynamic.
The price of PUBG will remain at 29.99 euros on Steam after the release.
Here you can find out how the new climbing and vaulting feature changes the gameplay of PUBG.
