According to Sony, there are still more games that will be supported by the PS5 Pro. However, no additional games are mentioned. The supported games should include both first-party games from Sony and so-called third-party titles. So, games that come from other developers.
Can I play normal PS5 titles? Yes, you can play all PS5 games on the PS5 Pro. You will also benefit from the higher performance of the new console on the PS5 Pro.
Can I play PS4 games on the PS5 Pro? Yes, the PS5 Pro also supports backwards compatibility like the original PS5. Sony speaks of “more than 8,500 backwards compatible PS4 games” that can be played on the PS5 Pro.
Do I have to pay extra for the “PS Pro Enhanced” upgrade? No, the upgrade is included for free with all games. If you own a PS5 Pro and the corresponding game, you can directly benefit from the additional advantages. All “Enhanced” titles support the new PSSR technology.
