What changes with this update for the PlayStation 4?
The patch notes are straightforward. Sony provides your console with more stability:

The last update 4.70 had the same patch notes, but also introduced “secret” changes, such as a new PlayStation Store logo. We haven’t noticed any secret innovations with update 4.71. Currently, there are no indications of such on reddit.
