The lineup for the “PlayStation Plus” games in October 2023 will be officially revealed on September 27, but already a leak has surfaced showing two games – including a horror game from 2022.
What games were leaked? According to the leak, the following two titles will be part of the “PS Plus” lineup for October 2023:
- The Callisto Protocol – the horror game released in December 2022 by Striking Distance Studios
- Farming Simulator 22 – A simulation by Giants Software in which you experience the various facets of farming
How reliable is the leak? The leak comes from the French site dealabs, which regularly leaks the upcoming “PS Plus” games. The information is usually very reliable and often proves to be correct.
A dealabs leak in June 2023 for example predicted CoD: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling as “PS Plus” games for July 2023 and got it completely right.
Nevertheless, this is a leak, so the information is not yet confirmed.
Callisto Protocol
What is Callisto Protocol? Callisto Protocol is a horror game with shooter elements from Striking Distance Studios, released in December 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Callisto Protocol is set on Callisto, the fourth moon of the gas giant Jupiter. You play as Jacob Lee, who finds himself as a prisoner in a high-security prison on the Jupiter moon. But while serving your time behind bars, some inmates turn into monsters. Your task now is to escape from the prison alive.
The game generated high expectations among horror fans before its release, as two former “Dead Space” developers, Glen Schofield and Steve Papoutsis, are involved. Shortly after launch, Callisto Protocol faced a lot of criticism, but has been able to improve over time.
Farming Simulator 22
What kind of game is this? Farming Simulator 22 is exactly what the name suggests: a simulation in which you take on various tasks of farming – with as realistic processes as possible, as it is a simulation.
Your tasks as a farmer include crop cultivation, taking care of animals, and managing production processes. You can either perform tasks on someone else’s farm or establish and run your own farm.
Alongside the challenges of the different seasons, you should also not ignore the economic aspect of farming, otherwise you will quickly lead your farm to ruin.
