At the E3 2018, Sony announced that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will soon be available for free to all PS Plus members in addition to the PS Plus Games of June 2018.
PS Plus members can rejoice: At its official E3 press conference, Sony announced that PS Plus members will receive the title Call of Duty Black Ops 3 tonight, in addition to the PS Plus games of June 2018.
Update: Black Ops 3 is now available for free download in the PS Store for PS Plus members.
This way, interested players can familiarize themselves with the Call of Duty series and the Black Ops franchise. In addition to XCOM 2 and Trials Fusion, PS Plus subscribers now have a third game available for PS4 this month.
Popular maps are coming back: In addition to this announcement, it was also stated that four popular maps from previous Black Ops titles will return in Black Ops 3 and 4.
If you pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, you will receive the “Back in Black” maps for Black Ops 3. The Back in Black maps will then be immediately playable in Black Ops 3 and include the popular maps Jungle, Summit, Slums, and Firing Range. The maps are exclusively available for PlayStation fans.
