With PS Plus (PlayStation Plus), the free games in June 2018 are available for download now. We provide a brief recommendation for each game, indicating which type of player should consider the download.

XCOM 2
What is it about? The Earth has ultimately been overrun by hostile aliens who are technologically superior. The members of the resistance (XCOM) have either surrendered, been killed, or retreated to secret hideouts.
Now it is up to you to rebuild the XCOM organization using the remnants of the resistance and lead a campaign against the evil extraterrestrials.
How is it played? XCOM 2 is a turn-based strategy game – meaning you plan and execute your actions, then it’s the opponent’s turn. You alternate turns this way. The controls on the console are very well implemented – allowing you to easily plan and manage turn-based battles on the PS4.
You must gradually transform the underground bunker refuge of your resistance fighters into a fully equipped headquarters. There, you will also develop your soldiers and their equipment.
From here, you will also embark on the tactically challenging missions to reclaim strategically important locations, gather more resources, restore humanity’s trust, and drive the aliens away.
XCOM 2 offers a multiplayer mode where you can compete against another player. However, the strength and focus of the game are clearly on the single-player mode. The multiplayer mode is merely a nice addition that is not particularly popular among players.
You should check out XCOM 2 if you appreciate an intelligent mix of real-time strategy, RPG mechanics, and resource management. Hobby strategists can’t go wrong with this title.
Trials Fusion
What is it about? Trials Fusion is the latest installment in the Trials series. Here, too, it’s classic and typical for the series: you hop on a Trials motorcycle and perform all sorts of cool stunts – from death-defying flips to breathtaking jumps and hair-raising stunts.
How is it played? It’s not just about mindlessly accelerating with closed eyes. Trials Fusion is based on realistic physics. The jumps need to be carefully planned, weight needs to be properly shifted, and the course must constantly be kept in view. To achieve high scores, you must master your bike and the track without looking.
Trials Fusion can be played solo, in online multiplayer with friends, and even on self-created tracks.
You should check out Trials Fusion if you are into entertaining motorcycle racing action and enjoy competing with others – whether by high score or in direct duels.

What are the free games for PS Plus?
Once a month, “PS Plus” members receive a delivery of free games that they can download from the PlayStation Store and add to their library. This game lineup is included in the subscription of the online service. PlayStation Plus costs around 60 Euros per year.
