Sony has announced the new free PS Plus games for February. These monthly games are available for download free of charge for all PS Plus subscribers on PS4, PS3, and Vita.
Sony traditionally reveals the new free PS Plus games on the Wednesday before the first Tuesday of the new month. These titles then become available for download on the first Tuesday. In February 2019, that is the 5th.

as free titles.
For Honor
What is For Honor? It is an action-packed online combat game set in a medieval world, with a strong focus on multiplayer mode. You must prove your combat skills in the story mode or with friends against other players and bots in various multiplayer modes.
The catch: You fight with swords, axes, and other weapons from the Middle Ages. You use different heroes, each with unique attacks and abilities.
You can choose heroes from the Samurai, Vikings, Knights, and Wu Lin factions. In For Honor, you need quite a bit of skill and practice to be among the best.
Who is For Honor suitable for? For Honor is a game for gamers who find Assassin’s Creed too lonely. If you are looking for a fighting game with exciting multiplayer battles and a sophisticated combat system, then For Honor is just right for you.
Even players who don’t want to miss out on the action of shooters but aren’t interested in guns can have fun with For Honor. The game demands a lot of skill and practice. Moreover, for your first matches, you need some tough nerves. But once you get the hang of the tactical combat system, For Honor can captivate you for many hours.
The various modes offer the opportunity to duel, participate in sieges with friends, or team up with heroes to bash each other’s armor. Both single players and smaller groups of up to four players can have their fun.

Hitman: The Complete First Season
What is Hitman? Hitman is a stealth action game where you take on the role of Agent 47 – a genetically modified professional killer. You control 47 from a third-person perspective. With him, you carry out various assassinations around the globe and receive all the content from the first season of the game.
The most important thing for success is that the target is eliminated. But how – that is entirely up to you. There are hardly any limits to creativity on the lovingly designed maps. You can disguise yourself, hide, deceive, or resort to brute force to succeed.
Do you sneak in, so that no one even notices you were there? Do you prefer to poison the target’s food in the heavily guarded kitchen? Do you snipe them from 300 meters away? Do you prefer to make “personal contact” and finish off the target with a knife or a piano wire? Do you take a bomb? Or do you grab an assault rifle and shoot everything in your way? It’s entirely up to you.
Who is Hitman suitable for? Series fans should also find this Hitman spin-off to their liking. But anyone who has always wanted to step into the shoes of a hitman should take a closer look at Hitman. Because you won’t find a better representation of this role on the PS4.
If you enjoy sneaking, love detailed environments in games, and particularly appreciate freedom in completing missions, then Hitman is the right game for you. However, multiplayer fans might be disappointed. Because in Hitman, you are on your own. There is no real multiplayer.

How do you get these free PS Plus games?
For that, you need an active subscription to the PlayStation Plus service. PS Plus costs around €60 per year. All members then receive several PlayStation games for free as digital download versions in the PS Store at the beginning of each month. You can then download the titles directly or simply add them to your game library.
If your subscription expires or is terminated, the games in your library along with their progress will be retained but cannot be played until you renew the subscription.
