For PS Plus in July 2017, a free game is already known. All PlayStation Plus members will receive this game as a bonus.
On July 4th, the “free games” for July 2017 will be available for all members of the PS Plus online service. About a week in advance, these games will be revealed by Sony. However, the first game that you can download for free starting July 4th is already known.
It is “That’s You!” – a party game from Wish Studios. That’s You is one of the PlayLink games that were introduced at E3 2017. PlayLink represents a new social gaming series where you can gather your friends around the TV, and they only need a smartphone or tablet to play various party games together.
One of them is “That’s You!” This is a kind of quiz where you first take selfies and then answer various questions, draw, and complete photo challenges. There are supposedly more than 1000 questions.
It is said to be a fun party game “in which you and up to five friends or family members finally find out what you really think about each other.” In this video, you can get an impression of it:
That’s You! is available for PS Plus members for free in July – probably as a bonus game
On the official PlayStation Youtube page, it is stated that “PlayStation Plus” members will receive a full version of That’s You! on July 4th at no additional cost.
However, Jim Ryan, the head of PlayStation Europe, reveals in an interview with GameReactor that this is a bonus game. You will receive the usual PlayStation Plus benefits and this game for free. There will likely be seven cross-platform games available in July.
We will find out the complete game lineup on June 28th. We will report on that.
