PlayStation Plus has revealed the free games for January 2017. What does the new year bring?
A week ago, the Games with Gold for Xbox were released, which you can download at no additional cost in January. Now it’s time for the “PS Plus” games for January 2017.
The Free Games for PS4 – PlayStation Plus in January
First up is Day of the Tentacle Remastered for PS4. In this adventure game, you must prevent a mutated “Monster Tentacle” from taking over the world. A somewhat “crazy” game in comic style.
This War of Mine: The Little Ones is darker, however. Your task is to keep a group of civilian survivors alive amidst a devastating war.
PS4 players will receive more games thanks to several Cross-Buy titles.
Here is the complete game lineup:
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered (PS4, PS Vita)
- This War of Mine: The Little Ones (PS4)
- Blazerush (PS3)
- The Swindle (PS3, PS4, PS Vita)
- Azkend 2
- Titan Souls (PS Vita, PS4)
These games can be downloaded and installed starting January 3rd. Until then, the “PS Plus” games from December are available.
What are the free games for PlayStation Plus?
Once a month, “PS Plus” members receive a delivery of free games that they can add to their library. This game lineup is included in the subscription of the online service. PlayStation Plus costs around 50 euros a year.
Every month, online gamers on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita eagerly await which games they will receive from Sony this time. The games are often highly controversial within the community as they can never meet the tastes of all players.
