Good news for players on PlayStation 4 and PC. Sony has significantly reduced the prices for the PlayStation Now subscription. Additionally, there are now more games available in the selection.
What is PlayStation Now? PS Now is a subscription service for console games that relies on cloud technology. The games in the subscription can be streamed or downloaded.
What are the new prices? Worldwide, Sony has now adjusted the prices for the subscription service. The blog states that they want to bring the price to a similar level as seen in other streaming services in the entertainment genre. The changes will take effect starting with the next billing.
The new prices in the EU are:
- €9.99 per month
- €24.99 per quarter
- €59.99 per year
Previously, these were €14.99 per month or €99.99 per year.
What new games are there? Along with the price change, Sony also introduced new games that are now available for three months. These are:
- God of War
- Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5)
- inFAMOUS: Second Son
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
These games are available from October 2019 until January 2, 2020. The list will be expanded monthly with more games.
Overall, this subscription service, according to Sony, offers the largest game library in the industry for console gaming. With over 650 available games, they are at the top.
Why should you use PS Now? The cloud technology of PS Now provides players with access to a large selection of games. PS2, PS3, and PS4 players can be streamed on the PS4 or PC. Over 300 PS4 games can be downloaded to the PlayStation 4.
