On Steam a new PvPvE dungeon crawler was announced, which at first glance reminds many players of a game banned from the platform. However, it is not only receiving criticism for this. In the trailer, which announces the alpha playtest, there is now gameplay to see.
What kind of game is this? Project Crawl is a first-person dungeon crawler, which was announced on Steam. The game promises you everything you could expect from a good dungeon crawler.
Join trusted teammates and embark on a quest for treasures, explore dangerous dungeons, and face horrifying creatures in battle. Master these and other adventures to escape the darkness and greed before they completely consume you.
What are the reactions? The reactions in the comments under the trailer (via YouTube) are mixed. It becomes clear that the game reminds many users of the title Dark & Darker, which was itself a surprise hit on Steam, but was then removed from the store.
However, the resemblance to Project Crawl is not only received negatively. There are both positive and negative opinions:
This is what the positive voices say:
- jojosdream writes:
If this is as good as it looks, D&D is dead
- xoshnax5962 writes:
You could steal the throne from Dark and Darker and claim it for yourselves if you wish
- deetsitmeisterjd writes:
This looks much more sophisticated. Dark and Darker is Pubg and this is Fortnite and Apex.
Against this are the negative voices:
- haileybennett4006 writes:
No female characters except the super sexualized merchant? I stick with D&D
- WarRage1 writes:
Every masterpiece has its cheap copy
- A7medChannel writes:
Nice, creative work (not), too lazy to change the UI
