What is the Mid-Season Invitational? The MSI is, alongside the Worlds, the largest and most important tournament in the professional league of League of Legends. The best teams from the major regions meet there for the first time on an international stage (lol.fandom.com).
In addition to a prize pool of 2 million, the winner of the tournament gets a spot at the Worlds of the same year. However, the winning team must first qualify for the playoffs of their region to attend the Worlds.
Which champion was loved by the pros? In the 80 games of the tournament, the champion Twisted Fate was played 53 times. This corresponds to a presence of 66% in all games. However, the card magician did not quite manage to win. With a win rate of 0%, the second most played champ of the tournament did not win a single game.
Only the champion Varus was played more often than Twisted Fate with 55 occurrences and achieved a win rate of 64%. Two other losers of the MSI were the champions Kalista and Cassiopeia, who were played 28 and 16 times respectively, both having a 0% win rate (lol.fandom.com).

Who faced each other in the MSI Final? The final took place on Sunday, July 13, 2025. The team T1, where LoL legend Faker plays, fought against Gen.G, who had already dominated Rounds 1-2 and the Road-to-MSI of the LCK.
