The upcoming “Star Wars” game Jedi Fallen Order will be released in two different editions for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We reveal which ones there are and whether purchasing or pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition, which corresponds to the Collector’s Edition, is worth it.
Leading up to E3, EA revealed some new details about Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order in its “EA Play” stream. In addition to a nearly 15-minute gameplay trailer, there were also details about purchasing and pre-ordering the game.
When is the release of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order? The plan is for Jedi Fallen Order to celebrate its release on November 15. It will be released simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
What versions are available? Currently, two versions of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order are planned – the “Standard Edition” and the “Deluxe Edition”.
What do the different editions cost? Both game versions are priced quite similarly.
- The Standard Edition costs 59.99 € (PC) or 69.99 € (PS4, Xbox One)
- The Deluxe Edition costs 69.99 € (PC) or 79.99 € (PS4, Xbox One)
What is included in the Standard Edition? The Standard Edition of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order only includes the game. There are no additional contents in this version, but those who pre-order at least receive the pre-order bonuses.
What is included in the Deluxe Edition? The Deluxe Edition has a few bonuses in addition to the base game that will be especially interesting for fans:
- There is a “Director’s Cut” with insights behind the scenes and the making of the game. This includes art and concept art.
- Additionally, there are some cosmetic items, such as a blood-red coloring for the droid and the spaceship.
Additional bonuses for pre-orders: No matter which edition you choose, pre-ordering will grant you a few extra bonuses. This includes cosmetic adjustments for the lightsaber and the droid.
According to the images, there will be an orange coloring for the lightsaber, two different saber hilts, and a yellow coloring for the droid. These are just cosmetic items.
This is how you can pre-order Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Which version should you get? Which edition you buy is, of course, up to you. Ultimately, the Deluxe Edition only offers cosmetic upgrades and additional background knowledge, making it primarily suitable for fans.
If you just want to experience the game and don’t care about cosmetic “fluff”, then the Standard Edition is for you.
