The MMO shooter Warframe receives the update “Mask of the Revenant” for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update has already been released on PC, and now it’s the consoles’ turn.
What’s included in the update “Mask of the Revenant”? The latest update for Warframe provides you with another Warframe, the titular Revenant. Additionally, there’s a new weapon for the new Warframe.
And then there’s the Street Fighter minigame “Framefighter”.
This is what the new Warframe “Revenant” can do
What role does the new Frame play? Revenant is a “Controller” who manipulates enemies, taking away their combat effectiveness. His abilities are:
- Enthrall: This allows you to control enemies and pit them against each other. Such enslaved minions will eventually explode in energy blasts.
- Mesmer Skin: Here you reflect damage back at enemies and stun them. Stunned enemies can be enslaved at no additional cost.
- Reave: Here you rush through enemies as an energy wall, draining their shields and life force.
- Danse Macabre: This skill continuously emits energy beams that shred enemies apart.
How do you get the Revenant? Go to Cetus to the mask seller Natak and bring her a Cetus Whisp. Then you will receive a mask for your Operator. Take the Operator to the Lake of Gara at night, and you will get background information and a specific quest for the Revenant blueprints.
What weapons does the Revenant have? The Revenant comes with the Plasma shotgun Phantasma. It fires either beams or plasma grenades.
Finally Street Fighter with Warframes!
With the Revenant update, a fun minigame is finally coming to Warframe: Framefighter. This game within the game lets you engage in Street Fighter-style brawls with different Warframes.
How do I access Framefighter? To play Street Fighter with Warframes, you need to travel to Cephalon Simaris and acquire a “Ludoplex”. This allows you to play all minigames, including Framefighter as well as the sidescroller “Wyrmius” and the Flappy Birds equivalent “Happy Zephyr”. These games are also hidden within Warframe.
