For a while now, German Twitch streamers have been appearing not only on the internet. Some well-known faces have made it to traditional television. Some even had their own shows. For 3 new episodes of a popular game show, ProSieben has invited a well-known guest: Papaplatte.
Which show is it about? Since 2012, ProSieben has been airing the show The Duel around the World at irregular intervals. In this show, popular entertainers Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf compete against each other.
As the name suggests, the two have to complete certain challenges in different countries. Whoever accomplishes a challenge earns points. Since 2018, the two teams have consisted of prominent guests. For the upcoming episodes, a Twitch streamer is also involved.

Who is participating? As ProSieben has now announced, The Duel around the World is coming back in 2024 for 3 episodes, and some celebrities are joining again. One of the most exciting candidates is the Twitch streamer Papaplatte.
This is not the first time he has interacted with Joko and Klaas. Though he did not actively engage with them, in one of their shows, the streamer helped a viewer win 1 million euros.

When can you watch The Duel around the World? Starting from October 19, the new three episodes will air on regular television on ProSieben or on the platform Joyn at 8:15 PM. When Papaplatte will be shown in the program is still unclear. Papaplatte is one of the biggest streamers in the world.
