With the new expansion, there was a possibility that the old boosters would disappear as “Unbeatable Genes” from Pokémon TCG Pocket. Players can’t find them directly again, but in fact, they are still there.
What is the problem? On the start screen, all boosters are displayed in a box that players can choose from to open. So far, there were 4 boosters visible there:
- Charizard (Unbeatable Genes)
- Mewtwo (Unbeatable Genes)
- Pikachu (Unbeatable Genes)
- Mew (Mysterious Island)
But with the new packs, the old boosters have disappeared. Now only Dialga and Palkia from “Collision of Space and Time” and Mew can be found there. Some players (including those on the MeinMMO team) briefly panicked about whether the old boosters – and with them the saved pack points – had disappeared.
But we were able to find them again and will tell you how to open the hidden boosters.

How to find the boosters for Unbeatable Genes
Where are they hidden? To access the old boosters, you first need to click on one of the 3 boosters from the main menu. It doesn’t matter which one you select.
When you zoom into the pack, you will see a point labeled “Other Booster Packs” in the lower right corner of the screen. Click on this area to be redirected to the overview of all available boosters.
Here you will see the packs for Unbeatable Genes
at the bottom left of the screen. Your pack points, which you earn by opening boosters, are still there too. So you don’t need to panic that your points or the chance of cards from the boosters are gone.
However: You cannot use the pack points to open boosters from other editions. For Collision of Space and Time
, unfortunately, you have to start from scratch.
When will they disappear? So far, the development team has not officially revealed when the boosters will disappear. However, thanks to a calendar from ptcgpocket.gg, we know that it could happen on April 30, 2025. The site has accurately predicted all dates so far.
Since new boosters are continuously being added, at some point the space will simply run out and the old packs will have to disappear. To always stay updated, you should bookmark the roadmap on MeinMMO: Pokémon TCG Pocket Roadmap 2025 with Updates: All new sets and events at a glance
