The Story of the Two Games
Here, the game stays true to previous editions and does not take any risks. In Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, you play as a young Pokemon Trainer (you can choose between boy or girl), who sets out into the big wide world. In this world, they want to be the very best, like no one ever was. To do this, you will catch many different Pokemon as usual and train them for battles against other Pokemon Trainers, wild Pokemon, or Gym Leaders.
Unlike the previous games, these editions take place in the Alola region, which you can explore together with your Pokemon. But in this region, several Gym Leaders are waiting for you, who will not give you the Gym Badge without a tough fight. It is therefore advisable to walk as much as possible in the tall grass on your way from town to town to surprise wild Pokemon, which you can use to train your Pokemon.
Rival and Professor in Pokemon Sun and Moon
What would a Pokemon edition be without the initial battle with your rival? In Pokemon Sun and Moon, you can prove to the whole village at the beginning that you are the better Pokemon Trainer by putting your rival “Hau” in his place. The Pokemon professor is much younger than our good friend “Professor Oak” and is named “Professor Kukui”.
